Step 1

Schedule Your Service

Choose your collection schedule and contact Northern Organics to begin collection service. We'll confirm your collection schedule.

Step 2

Clean Cart Delivery

We provide a clean, sanitized 65-gallon locking cart for your compost and food waste. Your cart is delivered and ready for service.

Our 65-gallon carts feature a secure locking lid to keep compost and food waste contained between collections.

Step 3

Collection Day: Cart Swap

On your scheduled service day, we arrive with a clean, sanitized cart. We remove your full cart and replace it with the clean cart.

The swap happens on collection day — no delay between your full cart being removed and a clean one being placed.

Step 4

Wash & Sanitize

After the collected cart is emptied, we thoroughly wash and sanitize it so it is clean and ready for another collection cycle.

Every cart is washed inside and out and sanitized before re-entering the rotation — no exceptions.

Step 5

Continuous Cart Rotation

Clean carts are continuously rotated into service, keeping the compost and food waste collection process simple, sanitary, and convenient.

The rotation runs every service cycle so you always receive a freshly cleaned cart at every collection.
